Cuba Trip: Part 4 - Havana - Views from Above
There are places to see Havana from above. Sometimes it's from just a slightly higher vantage point like here from the second floor of the National Museum of Fine Arts
Next to the Fine Art Museum is Avenida de Belgica with the Bacardi building (the one with a tower on top)
This photo of a tank and a fragment of an ancient city wall was taken from the Museum of the Revolution / Museo de la Revolucion

Unexpected but interesting to watch a salsa class in the courtyard of the Museum of the Revolution
It's quite pleasant around the Museum of the Revolution with some trees and the beautiful Academy of Cuban Ballet
The rooftop bar of the Hotel Ambos Mundos provides expansive views of Old Havana

Our favorite views were from the Hotel Nacional where we took a tour of the hotel which was also great
Brian enjoying the view of the Habana Libre hotel from the roof of the Hotel Nacional
View of Vedado area of Havana

Here I am in the trenches from the Cuban Missile Crisis on the territory of the Hotel Nacional
We later returned to the Hotel Nacional for a wonderful live show of traditional cuban music with Orchestra Aragon and other musical guests including the amazing piano player Emilio Morales
And of course some of the most interesting views of Havana are from the plane
